Testing Waveforms to EMR Process

The Spacelabs Waveform printer must be shared and added to all users that have access to ClinicalAccess.

What You Can Do

Step 1.

Admit a test patient to a production monitor that is not being used.

 

Step 2.

Open Clinical Access, select Spacelabs Waveform as the printer in the print manager located in clinical access.

 

Step 3.

Select the test patient in Clinical Access that you admitted to the monitor.

 

Step 4.

Go to Waveforms area in Clinical Access and print a strip. (You don’t actually have to have a waveform, just print the blank line on the Waveforms area.

Note: Validate that the document landed in the patient record.
